Hello

My name is Ben. I love movies and movie memorabilia, especially collateral such as posters, pamphlets and press kits. I have a large collection of theatrical posters as well as handbills I’ve picked up over my life and career. To me these graphic materials are a natural extension of my love of storytelling. I’m fascinated by how the communicative art of graphic design is as important to conveying the movie’s story as the movies themselves. If your passions are similar, perhaps we can work together.

Professional History

Graduated from California Polytechnic University in Pomona, California with a Bachelor’s Degree in Art with an emphasis on Graphic Design. Simultaneously minored in English with the belief that a graphic designer who can proofread or write copy would be highly desirable. Spent five years with comic book studio Wildstorm Productions. Thereafter turned freelance, working with a variety of entertainment companies and organizations. Formerly resided in Tokyo where the degree in graphic design and minor in English synergized with projects involving the design and writing of posters, press kits, and sales sheets for numerous clients including UNIJAPAN, the Japanese government-sponsored organization charged with promoting Japanese cinema abroad. Returned to the US and was recently employed with ZOO Digital as a production artist, localizing assets for streaming platforms.
